The Gravel, Concrete & Emulsion Production Corporation is a statutory mining organization established by an Act of Parliament (Act 43 of 1986) by the Government of Grenada to manage the exploitation of naturally occurring aggregate materials on the island.
The Minister for Infrastructure and Physical Development, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation & Transportation of the Government of Grenada is responsible for the appointment of the Board of Directors and directing the policies and general administration of the Corporation.
We currently conduct our operations from 3 main locations on the island, with three main operating divisions serving both government and private sector construction needs.

From these locations, there are three main operating divisions:

Gravel mining constitutes the core and most critical function of our operations. We mine and screen a variety of gravel aggregates as well as the production of inland quarry sand for the local and regional construction industry.

This entails batching and supplying ready mix concrete and various size concrete blocks. Our laboratory ensures all products meet required standards for strength and safety.

This entails the crushing and screening of a variety of aggregates such as rock armour and boulders for construction and coastal protection projects.

As a statutory body, we operate under the oversight of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Physical Development, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation & Transportation. Our Board of Directors is appointed by the Minister, ensuring alignment with national development goals.
Our operations span the island - from our head office at Mon Rush in the south to our Telescope Quarry in the north-east - making us the primary supplier of construction aggregates for both public infrastructure and private development.
